FIG & FETA PIZZA

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of fig butter/jam
  • 3-4 fresh figs, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh arugula
  • 4-5 slices of prosciutto, torn into pieces
  • ½ cup crumbled feta
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1 gluten-free pizza crust (homemade or store-bought)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  2. Warm up the pizza crust by placing the ready-made pizza crust on a baking sheet or a pizza stone. Bake according to package suggestions. 
  3. Remove from oven, and spread the fig jam over the crust, leaving about 1/2 inch around the edges.
  4. Add the arugula. 
  5. Tear the prosciutto into small pieces and scatter it over the arugula.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the prosciutto.
  7. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the pizza.
  8. Season the pizza with salt and pepper to taste.
